Si ricomincia dai primi 30 della IC 08-09 Classifica Flotta per determinare i partecipanti della Vmc08 come antipasto della stagione che viene e come dolce della stagione 2008, che ha visto come dominatori assoluti Dariosilve e naturalmente Francodrao in odore di "best skipper of the year". Il 2 di dicembre si chiudono quindi i conti per la seconda edizione della Vmc, profondamente modificata e di gran lunga più complessa della edizione di apertura, dominata allora dagli SST che promettono battaglia.
